Emergency physicians and specialists

Medical doctors represent the highest level of qualification in the care for injured drivers / riders. Due to the high-velocity traumas and associated injuries, optimal pre-clinical care can usually only be carried out by an experienced emergency physician.

Most of the doctors working at Emergency Medical Service sports Austria are emergency physicians who also perform this activity as part of their profession and thus have sufficient experience in the treatment of a wide variety of injury patterns. During major events, specialists (anesthesiologists, surgeons, radiologists, etc.) are present to support with their special skills (e.g. ultrasound examinations) at the Medical Center.

Nurses | Paramedics

Graduate health care and nursing staff are employed in the Medical Center. Here, anesthesia nurses, surgical nurses and paramedics are needed to work with our physicians.

Emergency Paramedics The role of emergency paramedics is primarily to support the emergency physician, in addition to the general tasks of a paramedic. They are specially trained for this purpose.

Paramedics (PM) Their task is to care for the patient during transport and to perform immediate life-saving measures before the arrival of the emergency physician.
